Re-design ICT strategy for global player in ‘lightability’
Our client is a global prime provider of cost-effective lighting solutions for safe, comfortable and sustainable environments. With its Belgian roots, the group operates in 40 countries worldwide with over 2,600 people, passionate about light and innovation.
A few years ago, our client took up the tremendous challenge to shift from a product-based company to a services and solutions partner. This change in strategic positioning and focus on customer intimacy has a great impact on n the ICT application landscape. IThis new focus on client first and customization requested for a thorough review of the full application landscape and solutions architecture of the entire group.
Mentor and Men was asked to review and update the ICT strategy and to evaluate the implementation approach of the ERP systems
We assessed the ICT application landscape, including Microsoft Dynamics AX2012, CRM, BIand other applications. We also reviewed the Microsoft Dynamics implementation approach and methodology
We recommended and defined in co-creation with our client, the scope, approach, organisation structure, governance and budget to implement the adapted IT strategy.
The Board decided to adopt the proposed ICT strategy and to move to Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Today, the implementation partners have been selected. The shift and change to Microsoft Dynamics 365 has started.
There is still a way to go, but the aim is clear.
