Processing more donations - up to 10,000 a day - linking them to the right actions and registering the donor data correctly requires an efficient way of working.

Since 2019, Kom op tegen Kanker has been working closely with Mentor and Men to lay a solid foundation for the future of Kom op tegen Kanker.
This collaboration has the aim to help achieving following goals:

Reliable and centrally controlled Master Data with Microsoft Dynamics CRM as the basis
Kom op tegen Kanker wants to obtain a 360° view of donors and their donations. Who are the donors, where does the money come from, have they been a donor before, have they organized an action before?Of course with the utmost respect for data protection.
Better insight into all that data serves a double advantage: on the one hand, it will be easier for the donor to make a donation or register an action. On the other hand, Kom op tegen Kanker will be able to set up fundraising campaigns in a more efficient way.

To get such a 360° view, the existing Master Data was insufficient. The data input coming from the different corners of the organization had to be made more efficient.
Mentor and Men provided a clear data structure. The consultants also provided an architecture that indicates which type of data should be accommodated in the various systems and how the exchange of data flows should take place.
“Having reliable data means we can respond even better to our donors and ensure that setting up and registering campaigns becomes even easier,” confirms Yves Braeckman
Mentor and Men coordinated the data cleansing, brought governance for the central management of the Master Data and optimized the processes.
A data steward takes care of the maintenance and continuous improvement of those processes and data.
